On October 2, the 12th annual Taste of Tucker food festival will be held on Main Street in Downtown Tucker from 1 – 6 pm. The Tucker Business Association has asked Troop 129 to work a “service patrol” for the event. They are asking if we can help with trash pickup during and immediately after everything wraps up. This is a great opportunity for Scouts to earn some service hours and participate in a community event.

We need to ensure we have good coverage across the various time slots, which means 4 – 5 Scouts for each shift.
- 12:30 – 3 pm
- 3 – 5 pm
- 5 – 7 pm
Mr. Jim Towhey, Mr. Roe Runels, and Scoutmaster Jarod will be at the event the whole time, but parents/adults in the Troop are also welcome to volunteer.
Scouts can wear their Class B uniform for this event.
