The first Troop 129 Court of Honor (COH) ceremony in well over a year is scheduled for Saturday, March 13 at 4 pm, and will be held outside at the Scout Hut amphitheater. Masks will be required for all attendees.
Since we will be social distancing, we may run out of space on the amphitheater benches. We are requesting attendees also bring a camping/collapsible chair (just in case).
If you have not signed up, please do so by filling out this [form]. This is required, since we need an accurate count for food at the event.
Scouts have until Tuesday, March 2 to complete any rank or merit badge requirements. If any Scout is attending Camporee (the weekend of March 5) and has some last minute requirements that will be completed during that trip, exceptions can be made to the March 2 deadline. See the weekly Troop emails for additional details related to timing exceptions.
Also, please note that we have set aside the following Saturday, March 20, as the backup date for the Court of Honor. We will monitor the weather closely on the week leading up to March 13. If the weather looks to be an issue for that date, we will notify the Troop of the reschedule several days in advance.
As a reminder, Scouts must be current on their dues in order to receive their awards. Anyone who is not current on their 2021 dues needs to either pay them via PayPal (prior to the meeting) or bring the dues to the event.
